Water testing
We carry out water testing for the Sanitary Inspectorate and Building Control.
We offer testing in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health on the quality of water intended for human consumption.
We carry out physico-chemical and microbiological testing of water, including for Legionella.
According to the aforementioned Decree of 7 December 2017, the presence of Legionella must be tested in collective accommodation buildings and closed healthcare facilities.
The implemented water testing quality system has been approved by the territorially competent State Sanitary Inspector, which authorises our laboratory to take samples and test water intended for human consumption. Testing and sampling is carried out in accordance with Polish standards.
We also carry out microbiological water purity tests in accordance with the European Pharmacopoeia.
Microbiological water testing
Microbiological testing includes the determination of pathogenic bacteria, such as e.g. coliforms, Escherichia coli, enterococci, Clostridium perfringens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa etc., as well as the total number of microorganisms. Such anlysis is most commonly performed for water quality control in mass catering and similar facilities. Periodic water testing is one component of any HACCP system. The water test results are also checked during inspections by the Sanitary Inspectorate and before the premises are approved.
Physico-chemical testing
The physicochemical analysis of water includes indicator parameters of the level of water contamination such as pH, conductivity, hardness, turbidity, iron, manganese and many others. In the case of tap water, a physico-chemical test can reveal secondary water contamination from, for example, the transmission network. The result of the well water test allows the selection of the appropriate water treatment technology.
