Testing of water for sanitary authorities

Our laboratory offers water testing for Sanitary Inspection, Building Control and also for MPWiK. We offer microbiological and physicochemical analyses. We provide access and sampling.

Laboratory approval

In accordance with the Law on Collective Water Supply, the State Sanitary Inspectorate authorizes laboratories to collect and test water intended for consumption by issuing the appropriate Approval. Only PPIS-approved laboratories can issue test results that will be honored by Sanepid.

Approval is granted on the basis of a PCA accreditation certificate or laboratory documentation confirming the assurance of adequate test quality. Approval is granted at the request of the laboratory. PCA-accredited laboratories also have to apply for Sanitary Approval every year.

Testing of water for sanitary authorities

The Ekolabos Laboratory has had the applicable Sanepid Approval for many years and is thus authorized to collect and perform tests on water intended for human consumption, for the purposes of the Sanepid.
